She was born on January 9, 1931 the daughter of Earl and Viola (Debroux) Bissonnette in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. In her mid-teens her family moved to Roseburg, Oregon where she met the love of her life William. They were married October 16, 1948 and were married for 65 years. They moved their family to Alaska in 1957 and were there for twelve years before moving to the Yakima Valley in 1969.Marion was a woman that loved to be with her family. She would take them out and pan for gold for many hours. She loved to play poker with friends and family, never having a problem taking her kids money. She was someone that loved to go out to eat and have a good meal. She would ask to go out whenever she got the chance. Marion loved to read western novels or watch John Wayne and western movies. She loved Snoopy, collecting all kinds of memorabilia. Christmas was her favorite time of year.Marion is survived by her four children, Barbara Neptune, Sandra Neptune, William (Nancy) Neptune, and Daniel (Annette) Neptune, her grandchildren, Michael, Stacy, Will, Melissa, and Kim, and her 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Russ Bissonnette. She is preceded in death by her husband, William.Services will be held at a later date. He was 86. Hood, an Air Force veteran of 12 years, purchased the formally called Wellington Lounge in 1972, at time when the once vibrant blues and jazz scene a little north on Springwood Avenue in Asbury Park had diminished.  More: Big jazz concert supports Asbury Park keyboard legend “We started out showcasing live Mississippi-type blues bands but in 1975, the bar burned down to the ground,” said Hood to the Asbury Park Press in 2000. After rebuilding, area bluesman Billy Hector was regular on stage at Jason’s. “That gave us credibility,” Hood said. Over the next few decades, Hood presented greats like Bobby “Blue” Bland, John Hammond, Bluesman Willie, Freddie Cole, Lou Donaldson, Brooke Benton and more, in addition to up and coming local talent. “He knew lot of people, he traveled around and he knew a lot of jazz guys,” said educator and musician Dorian Parreott. “He made the contacts and they would come down on a night that wasn’t busy.
